DIY Floral Nail Art

Hello you lovely lot!
The Disney posts are coming thick and fast this week, right? Have you been over to the official 'Maleficent Hub' yet, for insider goss and exclusive content? Make sure you do, there is so much over there to be excited about!!
It's been a long while since we last did a little nail art post for you guys, so here goes! Inspired by a girly, fairytale theme, I decided to have a go at creating a delicate daisy design. I think it's so perfect for  spring time and the design is also bang on trend, incorporating both the floral and pastel trends of this spring/summer.
All you need to create this design is 3 or 4 nail varnishes of your choice, a clear varnish and a couple of cocktail sticks...as well as a steady hand!

How to:
Step 1. Start off by preparing your nails with a clear base coat and wait until dry.
Step 2. Paint your nails with your chosen base colour. I opted for a soft pastel blue to form the background.
Step 3. When your nails are completely dry, dip the end of a cocktail stick into your second colour and, using the tip, dap 2 to 3 dots on each nail.
Step 4. Dip a separate cocktail stick into your third colour and use this to create 6-7 petals around each dot. Angle the stick slightly so that you use some of the side to achieve more of an elongated circular shape.
Step 5. Finish with a topcoat of clear varnish, and your'e done!
What do you think? Let us know if you give it a go yourself...maybe tweet us a pic!

Lots of love
Em xx
