#AlproAM Challenge

For the next 7 days I will be taking part in the #AlproAM Challenge! That is to enjoy Alpro's delicious products, including their NEW Almond Unsweetened, and create healthy smoothies each morning. I think we can all agree that now the new year is in, it's time for a bit of a health kick. I know I definitely could do with it as I had a rather indulgent Christmas period and now university exams are approaching, I keep reaching for the chocolate!

This challenge is perfect timing if you're feeling like your 'keep healthy' new years resolution is about to waver. Alpro's NEW Almond Unsweetened is only 26 kcal's per 200ml. That's a quarter of the calories in ordinary cows milk!

First off, here is great, quick and easy smoothie using Alpro's Almond Original.

250ml Alpro Almond Original 
1 banana
2 tbsp Natural yoghurt (I went for the low fat version just to be super healthy)
1 tsp of cocoa powder
1 tsp of honey

This was absolutely delicious! I wolfed it down straight away. You just get a slight hint of chocolate with the cocoa powder. Yummy! Let us know if you tried this recipe and whether you're up for taking on the challenge to kick start the new year!

  3. Alpro's unsweetened almond milk is my favourite. I always buy it, and I've tried other brands but for now I still go out of my way just for this one!
