DIY Embroidered Necklace with The Amazings.

Some of you may remember our post a couple of months ago about The Amazings. Well, we have teamed up with them again to show you how to make this beautiful embroidered necklace (seen above). For every class on The Amazings' website there is a different collaboration, and this one has to be my favourite! Meet Gilda, the elder, who is an international textile artist and all round sewing machine whizz, and Lara, the editor of Mollie Makes magazine, which is one of our favourite crafty reads. In this online video tutorial Gilda goes through everything you need to know to make the beautiful necklace, from setting up your sewing machine, to teaching you lots of handy tips and tricks along the way.

The videos are so great and you really feel like you are learning lots. If you get stuck, you can always ask the elder for advice too - which is very handy, even for the most advanced of crafters.  We are currently making our own embroidered necklace, under Gilda and Lara's instructions, and we will make sure to show you all when it's complete. We would really recommend The Amazings as it is a great way to get inspired and accomplish something with a beautiful outcome. Click HERE to head over to the online class.

And if that isn't incentive enough! If you purchase this class online you will receive an email with a link to a competition where you could win a £300 sewing machine! The competition closes on Sunday 15th September - so hop to it! This competition is open to crafters worldwide and make sure you pin your finished imaged of your necklace onto THIS Pinterest board to show off your handy work!

Happy crafting!
