London Fun

Yummy cakes at Hummingbird Bakery.
Em and Ken took a trip to London this week and spent the day in the sun. Kate unfortunately couldn't make it as she is currently travelling around Europe (we can't wait to see her when she returns!). We had a cupcake in Hummingbird Bakery, ate delicious ice cream in the East End and spent hours rummaging through vintage shops on Brick Lane. We hadn't seen each other for about 3 weeks, since breaking up from uni, so it was a truly great reunion in the capital. The best thing about this day was that we parted with very little money. We were inspired to go and have a day doing something a little bit different than just the tourist attractions in London and it just goes to show that having fun in a big city doesn't need to cost an arm and a leg. It would be such a fun challenge to go and see if you could have a day in all the great UK cities and budget yourself £20 for the whole day. All you need is a great friend and a beautiful place. Do you think you could do it?

What have you all been doing to make the most of this AMAZING weather? What have you been inspired to do in the sunshine? Let us know by using the hashtag #InspireMyDay on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

  1. Such lovely photos! I luuurv Brick Lane. I think you could definitely do £20, especially if the weather was good. The problem is, there are just too many lovely temptations!!

  2. I absolutely love Brick Lane! :)
I try not to spend too much on a day out nowadays!

We LOVE hearing from you! Thank you for your wonderful words :)
